Christopher Seitz  |  Managing Partner 

Chris Seitz is the founder and Managing Partner of Seitz Partners. Chris' portfolio of asset and wealth management search and advisory work spans front office and functional roles including CEO, chief marketing officer, head of product, head of distribution—both institutional and intermediary, head of consultant relations, intermediary channel leaders (national sales managers) as well as institutional sales, DCIO sales, OCIO sales, offshore sales, consultant relations, and relationship management professionals. He is a recognized expert in both intermediary and institutional distribution and is regularly quoted in industry periodicals.


In addition to his body of distribution and marketing work, Chris has completed projects for investment consultants as well as chief investment officers and asset class leaders for endowments and plan sponsors. He has also led assignments for buy-side equity and fixed income directors of research, portfolio managers, portfolio specialists and research analysts.


Chris’ clients include investment management firms, investment consulting firms, insurance companies and institutional investors.


Prior to founding Seitz Partners, Chris was a principal with the Asset Management practice at Heidrick & Struggles. Earlier in his career, Chris was a consultant with the Human Capital practice of Deloitte Consulting and with Drake Beam Morin, a leading global human resources consulting firm. Chris began his executive search career with DHR International where he was vice president of the Equity Ventures practice in San Diego.

Chris graduated with a master's degree in business from the University of Rochester with a concentration in competitive and organizational strategy. He also earned a bachelor's degree with dual majors in economics and history from Hobart College where he lettered in baseball.

James Flaherty  |  Associate

Jim Flaherty joined Seitz Partners as a Research Analyst in 2015 and was promoted to Associate in 2016. He is responsible for conducting research with a focus on talent market mapping, competitive intelligence, industry trends and compensation analysis. Jim's recruiting and research experience spans assignments in institutional distribution, retail distribution, national accounts, liquidity management, OCIO, DCIO/retirement, offshore distribution, alternative investment manager research and investment consulting, human resources and talent acquisition, general counsel and compliance leadership. In addition, Jim regularly contributes to the firm's thought capital.


Jim graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
